Damali Allen comes from a family of educators and is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She spent most of her childhood observing her mother Rose after school hours. Rose is now a retired principal, after teaching children from all walks of life. Damali later spent five years closely working with children as a volunteer at her son’s middle school and was awarded the Imagine Hope Lamond Parent Partnership Award for her tireless participation.
As a caregiver to a number of other children, she noticed that the children who were very successful applied specific principles in order to be successful. She later documented her observations and used them with her own son. After watching the success with her son, she decided to refine the principles and bring them to the world to help other children become successful. Damali resides with her exceptional son, Percy, in Washington, DC.
